A touch of lace

I know you like my cute face in this picture, I didn't have the heart to keep it from you

Hello beautiful girls!

I am currently sitting in Barnes and Noble avoiding the mound of calculus sitting in front of me. It's not getting done so I thought what a perfect time to say hello to my lovely fellow bloggers! I do love B&N though. I am seriously here an average of four days a week... It's my favorite environment to be in if it's raining or sunny, with a tall starbucks coffee and lots of books in front of me. On a good day, they aren't textbooks.

On the up side the weather's been so nice lately! I was so tired of the dreary wet and cold... Not my favorite. I think I may have even got a little sun today! Yay! Hopefully I'll be able to take lots of pictures while it lasts... I'm so ready for spring/summer clothes, I hope it keeps getting warmer!

Wow, I just realized only one item from this oufit was thrifted... that doesn't happen very often! :)

You are my sunshine

Yes, I did wear grey tights then brown tights.

We finally had sunny day again! I have been so tired of wet and cold. I’ve also been getting consistently sicker which has made it that much more unenjoyable. Needless to say I was so grateful for today. Anyway, have a great week!

a church going occasion

This outfit was perfectly versatile for a nice Sunday afternoon! It served me well for church, lunch, running errands and a coffee date! So basically made my day that much better.

In the last week I’ve had my last swim meet EVER and have started my last season of track. This whole senior thing has really started to hit home, it’s been a lot to think about! I still haven’t figured out what I think actually. Haha but anyway, hope you all have a great week!

Leaves

Hello! What a beautiful day, I loved all the leaves scattered about! Though I must admit, this week has been a tad extra cold… and unfortunately I’m not a big cold weather person. But oh well! In the midst of a week filled with calculus and chemistry… I couldn’t help but come up with ten things I’d rather be doing. So here they are:
  1. Bake a peppermint cake (my grandma’s recipe, I love mint)
  2. Ride bikes with one of my best friends Maddie Jaye (I’ll be doing a spread of us soon)
  3. Add to my fashion sketchbook (my favorite magazine cutouts)
  4. Go for a nice, long run
  5. Read Harry Potter
  6. Have a movie marathon complete with blankets and hot chocolate and boxer shorts and best friends
  7. Make homemade apple sauce (I LOVE apples)
  8. Go Goodwill hunting
  9. Sit outside and look at stars until I see a shooting star
  10. Buy lipstain
That’s all I’ve got for now.. But I’m always coming up with all sorts of things to do! Needless to say it won’t be the last time I share a list.

lets make a deal

It’s been a few days! This weekend I went up with a group of people to go snowtubing in North Carolina and it was awesome! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to post while I was gone.

I had to take some clothes to a consignment shop and I thought I might as well take advantage and make an outfit of the occasion!

over the river and through the woods

I’ve got to say, this outfit conceals some of my best deals. I had been looking for high-waisted olive trousers exactly this color for I don’t know how long and I finally found these wonderful things in a thrift store for… 80 cents! I was so happy. I also love the Justin boots and I got them for 5 dollars thrifting and they are so comfortable and awesome.
